Having always heard the quote from my mom, “All you need in life is good skin and a great, black turtleneck!” it’s no surprise that my love of skin care started very early in life. After graduating from Rizzieri Institute for Beauty and Wellness and completing graduate skin care & waxing courses at the International Dermal Institute, I gained experience as an esthetician and spa manager in Philadelphia and Los Angeles before finding my way to Salon Botanique. I love the daily opportunities I get to make a difference in my client’s lives, naturally! It is so important to take time out for ourselves to feel more beautiful and rejuvenated… it is an honor for me to be part of that. |

Originally from Canada, my initial formal training was with 2X Canadian Artists in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where I learned more of my trade. Applying this to the hair industry, I have been a stylist for 26 years and salon owner and operator in New York for 15 years. I have also been an educator for Nexus, and licensed school instructor in NY for 6 years. Relocating to New Jersey in 1999, I moved into a management position, which I still practice today at Salon Botanique. Working with natural and organic products at Salon Botanique has given me a valuable knowledge base – practiced and applied daily in my professional and personal environment. Pursuing a healthy lifestyle is full of many rewards. |
